Clearjet A2000 is from our Range of inkjet sprays (Solvent) which are all set and ready to use. Its solvent based chemistry allows for greater certainty to protect and work with almost any paper, film substrate and ink technology. Clearjet A2000 comes in a 463ml aerosol and is ready to use, and there is no clean up required either.
A2000 by Marabu will enhance your prints, as well as protect them against the effects of water, chemical and abrasion as well as prolong the quality and vibrancy of your prints when expoosed to UV light. Our High performance resins and UV inhibitor can confortably ensure you get as much as double the life of your print compared to an un protected Print. this is the result of our own real life tests.
Please note: These coatings are solvent based. They need to be solvent-based to be effective and to work with paper and certain other dye based, and water sensitive substrates. If you have films, canvas and other water resistant prints and substrates it is possible to use our more eco friendly and healthier range of water based coatings, Colourshield and Clearshield by Marabu range .
You need good air circulation and should use protective masks to protect yourself when using A2000, or at least ensure you have excellent air circulation when using the Clearjet A2000.
For larger projects, it is also possible to use the Clearjet coatings from a tin with a hand roller or brush. Drying time is quite fast, usually about 10 -15 minutes in ambient indoor conditions. Available in two finishes: Gloss and Satin.
