Aerosol sprays are typically used when the substrate or the inks is not water resistant. We try and advise the best solution for your applications and will always try and reccomend and assist you in using the best solution.. This also includes trying to reccomend or assist you to use an environmentally friendly or easy to use solution and for this reason most applications can work with our waterbased range of coatings. However paper substrates are vulnerable to the effects of water, as are the inkjet coatings and inks if they are not water resistant. In this case our aerosol sprays, that contain solvents are the solution. . Also in some cases for a small canvas or printer you may prefer to use a quick to use, and no clean up solutions such as our Aerosol solvent sprays
Just be sure to be mindful of the smell, and keep away from anyone with respiratory or other health conditions or sensitivity. Best to use in a secluded and well ventilated room.
Liquid Laminators – Coating systems for Liquid Lamination
All our coatings provides an excellent durable and UV protective coating that works well with digitally printed materials. From pressure sensitive printed vinyls, Banner PVC or its equivalent, to digital wallpapers, Clearshield works very well with most eco solvent prints and some UV printed inks and in some cases Latex inkjet prints as well. Landor Liquid Laminates will provide that extra adhesion and protection that is sometimes needed for certain substrates, inks or applications and environments. We can advise and assist what best solution will work and are alwasy at hand to test and evaluate your application and substrates
We can therefore ensure and offer the best solution for almost any printed substrate, from flexible to rigid, eco solvent, pigmented, UV or latex prints. When using our coatings for specialised or added protection such as vehicle graphics, graphic wraps. you will benefit from a much lower cost and flexibility than traditional lamination films especially cast films. also with the addition of UV fade protection and greater flexibility than traditional laminate films. UV fade protection, is a key add on and comes with oll our water based coatings., and each coat will also provide colour enhancement, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance. These are some of the key advantages and benefits of protecting digital prints with Landor liquid laminates. To ensure maximum protection our laminates are specifically formulated for a variety of different inks and substrates such as banners, truck side curtains, fine art prints and vehicle wraps and graphics.

Applications
Landor Water Based liquid lamination coatings is your first choice for all non-water-sensitive applications. This Formulation was created using state-of-the-art resins and ultraviolet inhibitors that protect the substrate, ink, and the clear coating itself. These non-yellowing clear coatings have excellent exterior durability and are highly flexible. For water sensitive applications such as dye inks we can also supply our Solvent based liquid lamination coatings that you can either apply by hand or use our Aersol Colourjet sprays
Use Landor water based Liquid coatings on most substrates, including waterproof canvas, vinyl, banners, fiberglass, wood, metal, plastic, and paper. You can apply it over solvent-based, Eco solvent, UV and Latex inks and almost all other printed ink and media combinations. Our Liquid Lamination coatings are available in several versions.
Solvent coatings are usually necessary for paper substrates or non water resistant inks or substrates. Aside from Paper we will usually aim to assist you and convert you to with one of our more eco friendly coatings.
